[The Aria UnmAsked as the Black Swan Theory]

This is a very popular theory among Aria is -A enthusiasts. But, there are some people out there who still don’t know about this this clue.

In the Season 2 Finale “UnmAsked” the girls are on the hunt for the “Black Swan” and they have their eye on someone who appears to be dressed as a traditional version of the Black Swan as seen sketched on a notepad in -A’s lair. Later we find out that it was Melissa who was behind the mask, but it seems as if -A told her to wear it. Was Melissa set-up as a decoy to distract everyone from the real Black Swan hiding in plain sight?

Writer I. Marlene King did tweet and say there was significance to what Aria was wearing.

Looking at the cover of a different version of the Black Swan, you can see that it is strikingly similar to Aria’s Dress. Aria is a clever girl and likes to be obscure. We ALL know that Aria loves to dress up according to book and movie references. Just like when she dressed up as Daisy from The Great Gatsby for Halloween and nobody knew who she was supposed to be. She is the kind of girl that wouldn’t go for the obvious. It seems to me like Aria may have been the real Black Swan at the Masquerade Ball.

ALSO, A fan tweeted I. MARLENE KING asking “how important was Aria’s dress in the finale? Is it possible she is on the a team??”
Marlene, replied, “it’s All in the detAils.”

Aria’s was wearing a pair of elbow length black leather gloves with her dress. That was very -A of her. 

Jenna was kind of spying on Aria in this episode, and was watching Aria, while she was standing in the background on her cell phone talking to a person whose face we can not see… can you say suspicious?

We were also told in this episode that -A would be unmasked. There were a few people who removed their own masks in this episode, but Aria was the ONLY person whose mask was physically removed by another person which was Ezra, and in my opinion that is the true definition of unmasked.
